5BlueMedia: seeing beyond the obvious
5Blue gets its namesake from the beautiful tropical lake found at Five Blue Lakes National Park in Belize. The colors of the lake make a magical site as depths vary and the sunlight reflects the most astonishing shades of blue.
The lake holds a mystery, however. The water is known to unexpectedly disappear and reappear. There are several theories to why this might happen, including a leak in the underwater cenote that is said to lead to an expansive cave system.
This phenomenon made me reflect on my own creative workflow. We don't always have the answers, nor can we always see things from every angle. Seeing beyond the obvious is not just an observational anecdote, it's a source of inspiration.
